Emily is in Bali. Her Instagram pics are tormenting us #jealous.
Patience is not our strongest suit. Getting excited about seeing our own shoe...
Emilie is in Italy. Rumour has it, it's not great for women's sneakers... Where should she go?
Gotta crack the hard part.
Summer is here and we feel lazy. Gotta get back up on it.
We've decided to get a new logo. Watch this space.
Just had a meeting with our Finance Advisor... Enough said.
It's been a crazy journey so far. Can't believe it's been a year already!
Great day up North. We went on a trip to the Walsh factory in Bolton. Beautiful hand-made sneakers coming out of their ears.
Our hard work's paying off and some doors seem to have opened!
We're currently chatting production with worldwide manufacturers.
We're still working hard to realise our new dream of making our OWN sneaker.
Met with Solene today, she had some great thoughts on women's sneakers 2014 and beyond!

Women's sneakers are all over the place. Some great designs coming out from fashion brands. Will streetwear brands follow suit serving up some good colourways for women as well??
Over Christmas the thought of making our own sneaker started to grow on us. We've been introduced to a potential investor by our good friend Lou. Very exciting.
Wow, this is extremely flattering! We've been used as a case study by an American university on their Marketing syllabus.

Maybe we should just make a pair ourselves.
Feeling like small fish in a big pond. It's seems none of the sharks wanna play.
Could we be looking at a brand collaboration?! Eeek.
Emilie's first article in the Huffington Post!
Maybe another photo - we have a lot of gifs with people dancing..
Emily's first piece on sneakers!
Back in the press, we've had some interesting phone calls coming in.
We've been invited to blog on Huff P. Wahoo.
Disappointed with the response from Nike, but not giving up.
“We have been in touch with Emily and Emilie and we find their campaign very interesting. We have always been and will continue to be supportive of feedback from our consumers.”
We’re confused. This response doesn't address our goal of getting the shoes on our site made in smaller women’s sizes.
Had some really great coverage.
Thanks to everyone! Thought we deserved a nice night out for all our hard work. No time like the present.
Exhausted, but thankful for everyone's support! Getting closer to changing it up, #pleasejustdoit!
Girls, women and men of all ages...Texan housewives, Japanese teenagers, Radio DJs, TV personalities...So inspiring to hear from all of you.
The meeting with Nike is over. We couldn’t help but feel we were being fed a lot of PR baloni… Didn't really talk about product. We asked them to come back with an official response to our goal of getting all cool kicks on the website made in women’s smaller sizes UK 3-5. Stay tuned for their reply.
Today we’re meeting with Nike at the Soho Hotel to talk about our movement.
Thank you tweeters!
Say Cheese. Doing some snaps for some journalists.
It’s been 10 days since we launched. Tweets are constantly ticking in and the press is all over it. Emily is abroad. So sad she’s not here to celebrate. Around 3pm the phone rings, it’s Nike. They’ve seen the website (we know, you’ve been on our Google analytics map for 45 min now).
They want to meet!
PUP's gone global! We've hit every continent on the planet (minus Antarctica).
Our phone's wont stop buzzing. Really cool to watch all the support come in in real time and very thankful for all the support from the press so far.
Wow wow wow, it keeps on coming! Nice to see guys getting involved too.
A lot of great support coming in. Looks like a couple of other people feel the same way...
We're live, and we've got traffic!
Launch date today. 16.07.13
Let's see whether anyone else agrees...
The site is done. Can't believe it. Everything is uploaded/tagged/linked and we can’t wait to see what happens once it goes live! Bring on our live date next week.
Noreen is a star! Not only is she one of our close friends but also one of our favourite designers. She's perfect for PUP! Very happy she want’s to fix us up with a logo!
We need a logo!
Crafting our idea is all about getting to the core of what it’s about; cutting out all noise and unnecessary content. Today we're distracted.
Thank God for our SEO fairy godmother Hannah! Sharing her knowledge of the wonders and magic of good SEO. It’s still a bitch though.
Arisen from a coding black hole.
Building a website is Nawwt easy. Thank you Squarespace! Trucking on.
Our idea for Purple Unicorn Planet is all written down and fleshed out. Now we just have to design the website and write a letter to Nike.
We've picked a name! Purple Unicorn Planet it is.
Do you like our hash-tag?
Our names are spelt differently but the you the gist. On the same page.
We’re on our third late night trying to come up with a GOOD idea to get Nike's attention and bring the shortage in the women’s category on the agenda.
It’s midnight. We've finally got one.
Lot's of bad brainstorming going on. Bad ideas coming out left, right and center. Hmmm.
Spending most of our lunch breaks talking about sneakers and now we've decided to join forces! Something's gotta be done about the shortage of cool kicks in women's sizes.
We did some digging with Nike's official customer service. None of the sneakers we like are made in women's smaller sizes.
Our customer service responses are under FAQ. We were sadly right, they didn't even make any of the cool sneakers in women's sizes in the first place.
Emily is looking for sneakers in muted colours, she proposes buying a size up and stuffing sneakers.
Both E&E think this is slightly ridiculous.
Thinking about writing a complaint to Nike Customer Services. Wonder whether you can get sneakers in muted colours in women's sizes at all...
Emilie has just returned from a trip to Miami SO frustrated about the poor sneaker choice for women. The stores stock hardly any women's designs and if they do it's largely pink and purple colourways!
